101 years ago, over 300 Black residents of Tulsa were killed by an angry and armed white mob, and an entire affluent Black community burned to the ground, its residents sent to camps to live. Two of our current school board members, Katie Rice and Katherine Eichorst have aligned themselves with this dangerous misinformation campaign.

Our children have been lent to us for a short time.
It is our job to teach them how to live, not control their lives.

Public comment starts at the 40 minute mark. I highly recommend you take 30 minutes to watch it all. Hear from parents, grandparents, and multiple students in our community.

The students and community members told the board what they need.

Will they listen or continue to kowtow to the few hateful members of our community who continue to make our children feel unwelcome?

I love prayer.
Prayer is great.
But where this issue is concerned, we've pretty well established that prayer is absurdly insufficient and incredibly insulting.
Jesus literally told us to CARE FOR one another, not just think about it.
Dead kids are worth more effort than just your invisible brainwaves.
Full stop.
