random thoughts photography as a hobby
it’s sometimes an interesting balance, finding the right moments to document: when to grab the camera and when to just be.
I rarely pull out my “real” camera on vacation - my iPhone storage maxes out as I take 25 photos of a bird on the beach, or a flower, or my iced coffee.
but film. it’s an old thing, yet a new thing. It’s different - slower, softer, asking me to pay attention. and creating with it has become a rhythm I’ve come to love, both inside my work and outside of it
photography is my job. and its still the thing I’d choose, even if it wasn’t
