Today was one of those days that reminds us why Grandmaison Management exists.

Reconnecting with past clients at the Live Free Recovery Services Housing Fair and seeing them thriving in their roles, leading their homes, and living out their mission—it’s something special to witness.

And just as meaningful was reconnecting with friends in the industry. The ones who understand the highs, the challenges, and the responsibility that comes with this work.

We don’t measure success by how long we’re involved.
We measure it by what happens after—and who we get to grow alongside along the way.

Haley and I are on the Seacoast today on official Grandmaison Management business—and naturally, we had to make a stop at BAD BRGR to see what all the hype was about for ourselves 🍔

Safe to say… it was absolutely worth the wait.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, kind, and just genuinely good energy all around—something we always appreciate, especially in this field where connection matters.

Couldn’t imagine spending our lunch break any other way today.

Every sober living operator starts with a mission.

Six months later they also have:

• 3 notebooks of policies
• 1 whiteboard nobody updates
• and a staff group chat that never sleeps.

This is exactly why we build systems. 😉

What started as helping operators run strong sober homes has grown into something much bigger.

Haley and I now find ourselves working alongside organizations on everything from operations and compliance to strategic planning, brand development, and public relations; helping recovery programs not only function well, but truly THRIVE.

At Grandmaison Management our scope keeps widening, the ideas keep growing, and the impact keeps expanding.

And the best part? We genuinely love the work we get to do together.

Running a sober living home takes heart, but without strong systems, even the best missions can feel overwhelming. The truth is, most owner/operators don’t need more hours in the day; they need better systems coupled with ex*****on.

One of the most common things I hear from operators is that they’re drowning in the day-to-day: documentation, housing fees, staffing, accountability, and trying to keep everything moving at once. Before long, it can start to feel like the house is running you instead of the other way around.
