With over 40 years in the gifting industry, Terry brings unmatched expertise to every facet of the business.
Starting with a background in fine food and design, Terry created Fancifull Fine Food and Baskets from her home in 1987 and grew it into a well known storefront on trendy Melrose Ave in Hollywood, CA. She was determined to elevate the perception of gift baskets by filling her gifts with fresh cheese, great wine, terrific sweets and flowers with a focus on local and small producers. Rather than create run of the mill baskets she wanted her gifts to delight and surprise the recipient and to support those producers doing it right. In her 35 years as the Big Cheese, Fancifull evolved into a premier gifting company for corporations, celebrities, movie studios and people the world over with yearly sales in the millions. Her specialty was one of a kind designs for high end discerning clientele as well as large orders in the thousands for business clients. Fancifull hosted regular tastings and classes to open the palates and introduce customers to the incredible producers in the world Creating for both wholesale and retail clients has given her a unique perspective and hard won experience. She sold Fancifull at the beginning of 2023.
Always a champion of small business Terry formed Always August and consults and coaches both small businesses and individuals with a personalized plan and the information needed to realize their own goals. Life is a journey and her job is to help clients reach their destinations at their own pace with certainty of the path they are on and that success is achievable. Terry’s deep industry insight and creative flair make her an invaluable resource for anyone looking to grow their brand or business in the gifting space

Common Mistakes made by Small Businesses and how to Correct them.
You love your business and you are sure everyone who uses you does too. But does loving you translate into sales? Sometimes, but not always. There are common mistakes almost everyone makes, including me. There are a few that I see over and over again. They cover a lot of ground and show up in a variety of ways.
Let’s also look at what you do that is right and how to keep doing more right than wrong to grow your business. Your energy and passion can help you jump a lot of hurdles. Did you know you only have to be right 51% of the time to survive? But we want to do better than that! Chances are you are doing a lot of things right. Honing your skills will allow you to achieve your goals more often and easier.
