It’s not immediate love at first sight, but a quiet knowing that it will come. In Japanese culture, koi symbolize perseverance, strength, and enduring love, often swimming together as a pair to represent unity and mutual growth. Through this imagery, the piece captures the idea of two souls naturally drawn together, moving gracefully through the currents of life and love.

Dear Pumpkin Diary 🎃,
This weekend was the Milford Pumpkin Festival aka the ultimate test of my endurance, sunburn resistance, and ability to repeatedly set up a booth without breaking anything.

I tried a brand new setup at this event since the plan was to stay inside but Saturday ended up being too beautiful to stay indoors. So how many times did we put it up, take it down, and then put it up again? I’ll give you a hint: it’s more than you’d expect. Haha But I couldn’t have done it without my new friends at

Getting to hang with my new vendor buddies and the awesome couple who own Frame Theory was truly a gift. And to those who trekked all the way out to the chaos to find me and support my art, thank you!! You truly make my heart full! ❤️
