Congratulations to Maize FFA Member Izzy Edwards on earning 1st place in the Video category of the national Digital Contest hosted by Nutrients for Life Foundation!

Izzy’s winning project, “How Fertilizer Feeds the World,” highlighted the important role fertilizer plays in agriculture, food production, and global food security through creative visuals and storytelling. She completed the project in the Greenhouse Management class at the Maize Career Academy.

We are so proud of Izzy’s creativity, hard work, and representation of Maize FFA on a national level!

Last week, our team was honored to attend the Maize High School FFA Banquet to recognize Izzy Edwards as one of the winners of the Digital Contest! 🌱

Congratulations to Izzy on her creativity, hard work, and outstanding achievement. 🎉

Members and advisors were given the opportunity to get headshots done at no cost at state convention.

The final day the 98th Kansas FFA State Convention! 💙💛

We spent the morning in the leadership sessions where senior Ava Berry was recognized for receiving the Bational FFA Built Ford Tough Scholarship!

We also watched many of our senior members walk across stage to receive their State FFA Degree. Congratulations to Anna Doyon, Ava Berry, Kenzie Kalb, Riggs Patterson, Elliette Nelson, and Aryann Fitzmeier!

We kicked off the day honoring our state finalists in their proficiency areas:

We spent the afternoon exploring Manhattan and are finishing the evening at Ignite the Night at K-State Rec Center 💜🤍

Day 1 of the 98th Kansas FFA Convention! 💙💛

We traveled to Manhattan, toured the flour mil on campus, spent time at the opportunities fair networking with colleges and businesses and then finished the night off at Opening Session in the Morgan Family Arena!

Members and guests will celebrate the Opening session of the 98th Kansas FFA Convention in K-State Sports Morgan Family Volleyball Arena!

With historic growth of our event, we're excited to be able to celebrate with all of our members and guests under one roof. We'll flood Morgan Family Arena with blue jackets for the Opening session and then return to historic McCain Auditorium for sessions two through seven.
