So I saw a video yesterday where a father called the police for his son. His son was sad on his birthday because no one could show up due to the RONA virus. So the cops drove up to the house with lights and sirens on. Turned off the sirens and then sang happy birthday to the kid. Would you guys do that??
You are a good person judge. You were always a fair
Yes my name is Rebecca Brownlow and I would just like to let you know that you TRULY have a guardian ANGEL on your team!! I was picking my daughter (who goes to little Miami high school) and was on my way back with my grandson as well when my front passenger wheel shredded. I saw one of your officers, who I now knows name is officer Kyle Treon, pass me and get behind me. I informed him of my situation and he offered to help me find a tow company. When officer Kyle came back to the car and told me the price I wanted to cry... 150 bucks I asked him if I could call my mom to help with the bill ya see I am a single mom and grandma to a VERY special 4 year old boy, he told me fine and he would try to find a cheaper rate. Kyle went ABOVE AND BEYOND that day and while talking to my mom officer Kyle came back up to the vehicle and informed me he found a tow for 65$!!! I thanked him and he told me to sit tight it would be shortly.... As we're waiting not only does he kindly give my grandson some stickers but I see another Hamilton Township officer pull up, this officer was a female also very nice. Tow truck comes Kyle was getting ready to take off so I thanked him for ALL his help the female officer kindly waits for us to load up in the tow truck before leaving us. When the tow truck dropped us off I had asked him if he could take my mothers credit card information as she was lending me the money until Friday... The tow truck driver also very nice informs me its been taken care of and that the officer had paid for it!! I couldn't believe it!!! I know the cozaddale store as I frequently stop in for the old fashioned rootbeer candies, so this officer touched my heart so deep I had to get his name and let YOU ALL know YOU HAVE AN ANGEL AMONG YOU!! See what Kyle didn't know is that it has been a VERY hard time for me I'm struggling financially with my hours at work getting cut, that is the ONLY means of transportation I have to get my kids=grandson anywhere right now, and my cat that I have had since the birth of my daughter (15years) is very sick and needs much attention. Needless I am going through alot and Kyle came at the right time to let me know there is still hope and that our guardian Angel's ARE still with us. You guys have an amazing team I am sure of that!! At least you're lucky to have such a compassionate, thoughtful, generous officer on your team!! Kyle Treon THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!! I will DEFINITELY pay a kind gesture forward ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’™โค๐Ÿ’š

During last night's Trustees meeting, three of our officers were recognized by Hamilton Township Fire Rescue Warren County Ohio.

Officer Chris Kaufholz, Officer Greg Watkins, and Sgt. Terry Viel responded to the Bel-Wood Country Club for a report of a person in cardiac arrest on the golf course.

These officers assisted the paramedics in performing life saving measures, and we are happy to report that David Bault is recovering!

Last night, he was able to meet the police officers and firefighters who saved his life.

We wish Mr. Bault a speedy recovery.

The academy will focus on key aspects of the law enforcement profession including respect, self-discipline, integrity, education, and physical fitness. Daily exercises, scenarios, and hands-on training will help the cadets build an understanding of the law enforcement profession while focusing on problem solving and the role of the police officer as a public servant.

There is no fee to attend this academy, and the program is best suited for children between 5th and 7th grade. There will be a picnic and graduation on Friday at noon which parents and siblings of the cadets are invited to attend.

We had a great time at the Easter Egg Drop today!

04/02/2023

Today is the day for our Easter Egg Drop! Here are some helpful tips:
โ˜€๏ธDress for the weather! Itโ€™s going to be a bit of a chilly start and the grass will be wet from the weekend weather. ๐Ÿฅพ
๐Ÿ› We will be gathering near the playground area located past the tennis and basketball courts.
๐ŸงŠKona ice will be on-site for purchase
๐Ÿšป 2 port o potties are located at the end of the paved path past the playground and baseball fields.
๐Ÿš The eggs will be dropped by a helicopter and the kids will be excited! Help us maintain safety by keeping your little bunnies close to you behind the designated areas during take off, landing, and egg drops. Staff will let you know when itโ€™s safe.
๐Ÿฅš We have over 14,000 eggs, but this is a free community event and will be well attended. Please start with gathering 10 eggs, then reevaluate. We want to ensure all children receive eggs.
๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸงWe ask that parents only help our youngest age group or with children that need some extra assistance. Please let the kids gather their own eggs.
๐ŸŽ‰If your child is one of the lucky ones to find a shiny, golden egg, please turn it in at shelter #1 to redeem your prize basket!

03/30/2023

โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธDue to forecasted wind for Saturday, we have rescheduled our Easter Egg Drop to Sunday, April 2nd from 12:30pm-2:30pm. โ€ผ๏ธโ€ผ๏ธ

For the last ten weeks, these men and women had the opportunity to get a "behind the scenes" look at policing and the criminal justice system. The goal of the Citizens Police Academy is to give our residents unique and valuable insight into the training, challenges, and rewards of working in law enforcement.

The next class is tentatively scheduled for January, 2024. To learn more, contact Officer Molly Hayslip at 513.683.0538.

Sharing our annual "Nerf Wars" post!

It's that time of year...Nerf Wars are back!

We have been informed by our School Resource Officers that the annual Nerf Wars are in full swing throughout our community.

Nerf Wars (aka: dart wars) is a friendly game that involve teenagers, ordinarily far past the point of playing with toys, stock up on Nerf guns, hoard foam darts and plot elaborate strategies against their classmates.

As in years past, we want to share these simple reminders to those participating in this activity:

DO NOT carry a Nerf gun that is all-black! Ensure your Nerf gun is easily identifiable as a โ€œtoy gunโ€ & is primarily painted with fluorescent colors: bright orange, bright green, bright pink, etc;

DO NOT surround a house wearing dark clothing while carrying dark guns. This behavior โ€“ especially when observed by the neighbors โ€“ will certainly generate a rapid police response!

If you come into contact with the police department COMPLY with whatever instructions the officer(s) give you. We certainly do not want anyone to get hurt, we simply want to remind you that an innocent game of dart wars can be (and has been) viewed by others as a dangerous situation.

Remember the rules of Dart wars: if the police get called, you are disqualified!

Have Fun โ€“ Be Smart!
