Thank you to WKRG for highlighting us on your story about rising fuel costs.
While costs continue to increase, our commitment to this community remains the same. When you call, we will respond. Our volunteers will always be there to help our neighbors and serve Magnolia Springs with pride.
Your donations help keep our fleet fueled, maintained, and ready to respond when emergencies happen. We are grateful for the continued support of our community.
Thank you for standing behind your local volunteer fire department. β€οΈπ
When a 911 call comes in, fire trucks must be ready to roll, but lately, pulling up to the pump comes with a higher price tag for volunteer fire departments. https://www.wkrg.com/baldwin-county/how-rising-fuel-costs-are-impacting-volunteer-firefighters-across-baldwin-county/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_WKRG

Search and rescue was the subject of this week's drill at the Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Using pallets arranged to mimic a typical house floor plan, fire fighters learned how to force entry, search and remove a trapped victim.from a residence. Firefighter Ryan Rail demonstrates how to reach out to locate an unconscious victim while maintaining contact with a wall that will help him from getting disoriented in a smoke filled house.

Tonight, some of our members had the opportunity to train using the Alabama Fire Collegeβs Mobile Driving Simulator!
The simulator provides realistic, hands-on experience in emergency vehicle operations β allowing our firefighters to practice navigating hazardous road conditions, high-traffic responses, and critical decision-making scenarios in a safe, controlled environment.
We are grateful to Robertsdale Fire Department for bringing this valuable training resource to our area and helping us continue to sharpen our skills.
Training like this ensures we are prepared, professional, and ready to respond safely β for our crew and for the community we proudly serve. ππ₯

πβ€οΈ Big News for Magnolia Springs! β€οΈπ
We are proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant to purchase a LUCAS automated CPR device and a new cardiac monitor!
The LUCAS device provides consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac arrest, giving our responders the ability to deliver lifesaving care more effectively and safely. Combined with an advanced cardiac monitor, our team will be better equipped to assess heart rhythms, deliver defibrillation when needed, and provide critical interventions in emergency situations.
This equipment will directly enhance the level of care we provide to our community β because when seconds count, having the right tools matters.
We are incredibly grateful for the funding support that makes advancements like this possible. Investments in emergency services are investments in lives saved.
