Realizing I don’t have enough jigs in my shop for this project… I built this jig real quick to modify pieces for the mountain project. Clean, precise cuts make for much better joints.

A honey locust tree near my office got a hair cut. So, naturally I grabbed a piece or two. This is a piece from the largest branch. I saved a few more pieces that I might glue up and turn later. But they need to lose some moisture first. I love the grain on this stuff though.

My old whiskey shelf was one of my first wood working projects. I should’ve taken a before and after picture but just know it was subpar. But this one takes the cake.

This year’s anniversary present for , I made a solid walnut knife block to replace one I made years ago out of plywood and walnut inlay. It looked good years ago but it was time.

This fire pit cover was a bit different than my usual project but I love how it turned out. It’s finished with three coats of Marine Spar Varnish so it can live outside. Thanks to for the inspiration! @ Fire Island, New York

I got a request to make a few essential oil stands. This one holds roller bottles on the top level and dropper bottles on the bottom. If anyone is interested in a version like this, send me a message. I’m selling this size for $25. Other sizes will be available soon. Let me know!

So it’s been a while...
This is a commission I’ve been sitting on this project for a little over a year now while I’m in between spaces. Ive also been waiting for a couple of these pieces to dry in my kiln. Swipe to see a few before pictures.
Since I let the moisture sit in these logs, it brought out a lot of natural color and spalting which looks pretty cool. I’m looking forward to finishing these!
