We don’t choose the timing, unfortunately we are asking for your support once again.

We here at ReLEntless Defender Apparel are honored to partner up with TEXAS DPSOA on another extremely meaningful fundraiser design.

🚨🚨Boil Water Advisory has ENDED for Madisonville - Please share and let your neighbors know!!

🚨🚨Boil Water Advisory has ENDED for Madisonville - Please share and let your neighbors know!!

[02/18/21]   City of Midway reported this morning, 2/18/21 that they are still trying to fill up their water tanks and are opening the system up periodically to customers. A BOIL WATER NOTICE remains in effect for most water systems in Madison County, including water from the City of Madisonville, City of Midway, and North Zulch MUD.

Please continue to conserve and electricity. Providers are working to restore power.

Also, please be aware of falling limbs and trees that are covered with ice, as they fall from the extreme weight of the ice. Also, be aware of the possibility of falling icicles. Power lines may also be covered in ice and can hang low to the ground or break. Never approach a downed power line, as it may still be charged with electricity and could be deadly.

The current forecast would call for a good ice melt on Friday, then much better on Saturday. Although melting is expected during the day, we may still be subject to freezing temperatures during nighttime hours that could cause re-freezing of the run off. Continue to use extreme caution is you must be on the road.

Entergy has reported that there are still a large number of outages in our county, but they are working on them and should have most of them restored today, or at least by tomorrow. Houston County Co-op has reported that they, too, are working on restoration of lines due to ice, mostly in the Midway area. We have not received additional updates from Mid-South directly at this time.

Again, we are under a BOIL WATER NOTICE. Stay safe, warm and well!

A low pressure system along a cold front has been moving across our acrea since yesterday and the associated rainfall has been causing intermittent flooding along county roads near creeks, ditches, and low-lying areas. Please use extreme CAUTION when driving and do not cross roadways with water over them. These areas should drain off, but may take some time. Turn Around Don't Drown!! and Be Safe Out There while we welcome the New Year!

On this day...19 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

Never forget.
