SPLC brought the K*K to its knees after a 19-year-old Black man was lynched in Alabama. Their offices have been firebombed, and their staff has faced countless threats. Still, for 50 years, they have documented hate and violence, bigotry, and Christian nationalism. Their work has saved lives.
This is political persecution dressed in legal clothing simply because SPLC disagreed with the President. When the powerful come for those who protect the powerless, we don't step back. We step up.
