I always loved this song. It's actually four or five unfinished song fragments that McCartney made into a suite and his first post Beatles #1 record.
Oh, and the video is wholly unrelated with footage of the McCartney's freezing half to death at the seaside and, well, Paul and Linda just being Paul and Linda.

We lost The Gentle Giant, Don Williams yesterday. He had a whole slew of Country hits over the years, but he was also part of the Pozo - Seco Singers who cracked the Top 40 in 1966. Don is singing lead.
The Pozo-Seco Singers - I Can Make It With You From 1966 comes this release which was the highest charting record for this trio, which included Don Williams, Lofton Kline and Susan Taylor (aka Taylor Pie)...

Peppermint Rainbow Will You Be Staying After Sunday HQ Stereo Dub
Wow! Just realized that this is my 33rd radio anniversary. January 2nd,1984, I started at WNAT/WQNZ, Natchez, Mississippi. It was an overnight, Sunday into Monday morning. The 24 hour FM station usually signed off at midnight Sunday night. Ron "Adams" Mruk put me on as a tryout. If I were still there when he got there at five, I'd have a job. If I couldn't do it, then just make sure I locked the door on my way out!
I was still there Monday morning and began part time the following weekend. Saturday night 6 pm until 1 am and Sunday morning 5 am until noon! 14 hours inside of 18 every weekend.
I soaked up every bit of wisdom I could from Ron, Jill Adams, Jim Edwards, Dennis Stockton, Jeff Smith, David Elliot, Gary "Creecher Feature" Creech, Alan Goodwin, Curtis Ross, Vincent Thomas and others. Some of these have moved on and some have passed on. There were some others that came and went while I was there including Brian Scuilli and Bob Capasso both of whom I still keep in touch with today. If I could build a time machine, I think that's where I'd like to go...

You’re A Mean One Mr Grinch
The classic Dr Suess How The Grinch Stole Christmas came out in book form in 1957. The hateful Grinch who lives atop Mount Crumpit sets out to stop the Whos from celebrating Christmas by means of burglary. In 1966 the animated version directed by Chuck Jones made its apprearance featuring the Voice of Boris Karloff as both the narrator and the Grinch. The special also featured Thurl Ravenscroft singing the song You’re a Mean One Mr Grinch.
For many years Ravenscroft was the Voice of Tony the Tiger in the Kelloggs Frosted flakes commercials as well as many attractions at Disney theme parks.
