Inspired by spring, I made a macrame xauv-inspired wall hanging with floral "kib" tassels. Younger me would be obsessed since I always secretly wanted to wear the xauv with the prettiest floral kib pendants!

A new macrame bag for spring 🌿🌸

Thinking this might make a cute brunch bag ☕🥐...or maybe a date night bag? I decided to add a chain strap instead of making one so that it transitions effortlessly from day to night. Still debating if I want to make a drawstring insert or keep as-is.

My first macrame project after two years.

Not gonna lie—I had to review old notes and study photos of my previous works to remember how to make one of these. I felt so rusty and struggled to connect different design/pattern ideas, but I think it turned out beautifully. My husband even said, "You still got it!" which was very reassuring! 😊

After years of making xauv-inspired wall hangings, I've never kept a double-hooped piece for myself, so I'm excited to finally hang one in my own home!
