✨ We're excited to welcome Miss Madison 2026, Ava Ernst, to the 73rd Annual Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival! 👑🌽

👑 Miss Madison | Ava Ernst

A Dean's List senior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Ava is double-majoring in Journalism and Strategic Communication with a minor in Sports Communication. A lifelong musician, she's spent more than 13 years singing, songwriting, and performing.

Inspired by her friendship with her Best Buddy, Elizabeth, Ava founded Choose to Include, an anti-bullying initiative that promotes kindness and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through school presentations and community outreach, she's helping create more welcoming spaces for everyone. 💙🧩

In addition to her advocacy, Ava works as a live sports announcer for Big Ten+ and interns with a local ABC affiliate, combining her passion for storytelling with a future career in sports media.
