The art you choose helps tell the story of your space. (And it’s such a JOY when you choose my art to get to be a part of that!!) These are some of my favorite pieces in the Archive Sale, and I am sad to them go! But sometimes I have to think of the art and products I offer like a vacation — they can be amazing and fun but don’t need to last on site forever. And sometimes, I need to make room for what is to come! If you’ve had something in your cart that you’ve been eyeing, check out this collection because it might be your last chance! The Archive Event is happening now! 20% off this and sooooo many other pieces of art! We are sunsetting textured canvases, changing frames, and archiving some art, too! If you’ve had something in your cart and haven’t purchased yet, check out out because this might be the last chance! (Comment “archive” to get a link!) ✨
About this art, “Garden Glen” 🍃🍂 Garden Glen was inspired by a garden on the brink of spring or autumn. You’ll love the expansive, dusky lavender sky, and the way it makes the pops of fall foliage even more special... picture walking through this beautiful glen, on the way to a perfect afternoon tea in the garden.
Comment “archive” for a link to the sale! As per usual LL Summer tradition, it’s time to make room for what’s next! The Archive Event is your last chance to shop a collection of LL favorites before some big changes take place. Some designs will be retiring altogether, our Textured Art collection is officially being sunset, and the current frame styles you see throughout the Archive and across the site will no longer be available after this event. If you’ve had your eye on a piece, a texture, or a particular frame, now is the time. ⭐️ (so excited to show you what’s to come!)

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you feel best surrounded by a lush greenery, or cozied up in vibey little lounges, or sipping an umbrella drink poolside, you’re going to love any of my paintings from my Plant Shop Collection, but especially my new one, The Botanist. (I’m holding it here, as a 24x30” art print). I can’t snap my fingers and transport you to a tropical paradise, but I *can* create an art that makes you feel like I did! 🌴🍃🌱🪴 Comment “plant” to get a link sent to your DMs! 🫶

Around this time in July, when we start to hear buzzing about summer flying by and how it’s almost over, I used to get panicky. But while I was painting my newest Fireflies painting, started thinking about this, and now I offer it to you: Most beautiful memories are minutes long. Minutes. Maybe even seconds. That time you stood watching fireflies. The time you laughed so much at that one inside joke with your friends that Dr Pepper came out of your nose. Going down a water slide with your used-to-be-afraid-kiddo. A twist cone among friends. These memories didn’t take a summer to make, they took a few minutes — a few minutes or delight, and the awareness to recognize and capture them. To clock them and save them for later. And so with that, there’s plenty of summertime left to make memories, to relax, to read a book, to soak up some sun, try to prioritize what you need to. To make sweet memories now to be enjoyed again later. ☀️Summer might be made of months, but memories are made of minutes. ☀️ Don’t get panicky and think there isn’t time. There is. I promise. I hope this helps! 🫶(comment FIREFLIES to get a link to this art!)
My honest answer to “will it be okay?” ❤️🩹 July through August are really reflective months for me, since they are the time that lead up to when our daughter Eva sustained a TBI in 2019. Many people reach out to me (us) for advice about how to help other loved ones through scary moments like this and honestly, I don’t respond because I don’t think that what I feel and would say would be encouraging or helpful. It wouldn’t have been to me if someone had asked. But here’s what I would say if I was honest. This post isn’t advice. This post is for the people who have lived this and know what I’m describing. Who listen and think YES, totally. This. It’s not helpful for the people at the begging of their “after” line, but it’s for the ones who are farther into there after. So often it feels lonely in the after and so I’m posting this so that we can be united in circumstance and feelings that we never wanted, but will honor as best we can. I see you. Love you. Thank you. 💛 (Drop an emoji or comment if I can pray for you in this month and next, as this comes to mind). 🫶
