I proudly introduced a resolution to declare June as Nuclear Family Month in Wisconsin.
This resolution recognizes the importance of the nuclear family (one husband, one wife, and their biological, adopted, or foster children) as a foundational building block of a strong and healthy society.
Wisconsin would not be the first state to recognize and promote the value of the nuclear family, and we should not be afraid to stand up for the institutions that help children and communities thrive.
Strong families create stronger communities, better outcomes for children, and a more stable future for our state and nation. At a time when family values are too often dismissed or undermined, we should be encouraging and celebrating the mothers and fathers who are working hard every day to raise the next generation.
I am proud to support policies and initiatives that strengthen families and reaffirm the values that have long served as the backbone of our communities.

A great time at the Hobart Fire Department Kickoff to Summer Celebration.
Food Trucks, Cottontail Candy, FIRE Fitness Camp Hobart, Hobart Family Chiropractic, FOREVER Digitization, Basket Raffles, and so much more.
Did you know Hobart offers a Fire Fighters Cadets program? A great way for young people who are in 9th grade or above to learn about becoming a fire fighter. A great way to get started towards a career in Fire fighting.

Today, I had the opportunity to meet with Curtis Riedy, the Outagamie County Highway Commissioner, and Joe Zellmer to learn more about the transportation and road needs across the county. I appreciated the chance to hear firsthand about the important work their team does to maintain and improve local roads. Thank you to Curtis and the entire team for taking the time to share their expertise!

This is why I worked so hard on creating rules social media platforms when it comes to accounts for minors! Both bills I authored, AB 962 and AB 963, would have put parents in the driver's seat and curbed social media platforms addictive practices targeting minors.
AB 962 and AB 963 both passed the Assembly this session but we're not signed into law. However, I will not giving up the fight to protect our kids in the next session.
States Pass New Laws to Combat Social Media Addiction Three states enacted laws targeting 'addictive' social media feeds, limiting platforms' interaction with minors.

Yesterday, 39 fellow legislators and I urged Governor Evers to reconsider his approach to commutations and early release requests. It is alarming to see violent criminals, including convicted cop killer Ted Oswald, pursuing early release back into our communities.
We urged the governor to reject commutations for dangerous offenders like these and to ensure victims and their families receive timely and meaningful notification when these requests are being considered.
The safety of our communities and the rights of victims should come first.

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. We carry their sacrifice with gratitude, and we hold their families in our hearts. Their courage is not forgotten, and their legacy lives on in the freedom they secured for us all.
