Across MyPath, nearly 1,400 direct care employee-owners support more than 2,000 individuals, helping create opportunities for connection, independence, growth, and meaningful participation in their communities.

This year’s national DSP Recognition Week theme, “DSPs: Building Belonging,” reflects what our DSPs do every day. Through countless interactions, big and small, they help the people we support feel valued, connected and empowered to live meaningful lives.

The numbers show their reach. The lives they impact tell the real story.

Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in attacks that changed families, communities, and our country forever.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, we invite everyone to take a moment to remember, reflect, and honor those whose lives were affected.

For some, September 11 is a vivid personal memory. For others, it is part of history learned through family stories, school, or the experiences of others.

No matter how we came to know the events of that day, we share a responsibility to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and ensure their stories are never forgotten.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

For 10 years, Kristen Kimzey has made a meaningful difference at Genesee Community Services - ABA Therapy, a MyPath Company. 💙

With more than 20 years of experience in the ABA field, Kristen says her career has taught her the importance of empathy, resilience, and celebrating small wins.

MyPath’s LGBTQ+ Pathfinders recently joined the celebration at Pride Lafayette, Inc. OUTFEST in downtown Lafayette, where MyPath was proud to return as an event sponsor.

MyPath spent the day connecting with community members, sharing more about our mission, and celebrating alongside individuals, families, organizations, and allies from throughout the community.

Events like OUTFEST are an opportunity to show up, build connections, and help create communities where people feel welcomed, valued, and supported. That same presence strengthens the relationships we build within our communities, raises awareness of who we are and the services we provide, and helps create a workplace our employee-owners can feel connected to and proud to own.

It’s another way to show up for our communities within MyPath, too. 💜
