Yesterday we had a roomful of powerful female creatives sharing and collaborating our visions. The presentation we created focused on the "Creative Disruption" methodology and its integration into how we can work as a team building upon our strength as independent visual artists. It's time to build a future together for our clients as well as ourselves.

The end of June gave everyone the opportunity to do a little team building exercise on Lake Monona. What a perfect afternoon- and that sky! Abi, Youa Jen and Chris made it to the middle of the lake and back to shore using important skills like balance and calm- the same skills we like to use on all our photo shoots

Shooting balloons
A few years back our crew was curious about testing out some stop motion photography so dug out his hand built remote sound trigger system while helped fill up a bunch of balloons in their corresponding tempera paint color and we purchased some darts-these few captures are the result of aiming said darts in complete darkness at balloons hanging from monofilament in the middle of the studio against a black background. There was was a 50/50 chance of the darts hitting and blowing up the balloons but when they did, the explosion made us scream and giggle with delight and then gasp in awe with the final shot. So much fun, such a dangerous crazy way to spend an afternoon -exactly the combination to push your creative boundaries. Always be curious and explore new things even if you might only succeed 50% of the time
