This Wednesday the Lynwood court attended the annual tree lighting ceremony in front of City Hall. On Friday, the court could be seen on a float during the annual Candy Cane Lane Parade! 😉 ♥️

Last night at the Lynwood City Council meeting, Mayor Solache and the council proudly recognized Rachel Rodriguez, winner of the PMA Essay Writing Contest!

This scholarship holds a special significance, as it was created by Miss Lynwood in honor of Ms. Forbes, a beloved teacher who lost her battle with breast cancer. To add to the moment, a proclamation was made beforehand during the meeting declaring October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder of the importance of continuing the fight in her, and the countless many other women’s who battled and continue their battle against Breast Cancer memories.

Congratulations, Rachel, and thank you for keeping Ms. Forbes’ legacy alive through your incredible work. 💖
