The Vision

In the latter part of 1977, in the sanctuary of Trinity Church, The Lord spoke to Pastor Marie’s heart and said, “I am going to give you this building.” Since that time, the Lord has continued to perform one miracle after another. In January of 1978, the Lord gave Pastors Levoid and Marie the facility as He promised, Thus Resurrection Life Center was founded. God told them He wanted to establish a great work there.

There were (2) two things God said He wanted them to do:

1. Teach His people how to WORSHIP HIM with total abandon.

2. Teach His people how to truly LOVE HIM.

The Lord gave them a desire, and directed them to answer His call to ministry in the City of Lynwood. He commanded them to walk the length and the breadth of the city, and to claim it for Him. They did just as He said. The Pastors and congregation walked the entire length of Lynwood from Alameda Street to Wright Road, praying and claiming souls for the kingdom of God.

They walked the breadth of the city from Abbott Road to the end of the city line at Carlin Avenue. The Lord told them to minister to people of all ethnicities, by bringing love instead of division and separation among the people. He made them aware, that it is within the church where the world needs to see people of all backgrounds expressing the love of God to each other, by praising God together, as evidence of the power of the Gospel.

The Lord told them to pray and to call forth life to a dying and desolate city. They prayed against the abandoned 105-freeway construction, and the Lord brought it in. They prayed for industry, commerce and housing to come forth in the city, and also against corruption, crime, evil injustices and racial discrimination and prejudices.

The VISION is to reach Lynwood and the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. This will enable hurting people to be saved through the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, thereby becoming whole, healed and restored... spiritually, physically and emotionally, through the love of God and through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastors Levoid and Marie became ordained Bishops in 2015 by Bishop Napoleon Rhodes, Prelate of the Convention of Covenanting Churches. Their Assigned Jurisdiction No. 12 covers the Middle East and the Continent of Asia.
