Finished Lamp!

Some pictures of the process of making the lamp! The light bulb inside changes colors and can connect to Alexa or nest on of them lol etc!!! So my mom can put her father’s favorite color on when she lights him up and all the loving memories of him play in her head ! It’s definitely a conversation starter and a good way to keep his memory alive and in her home! So glad I thought of this!!! The last picture is the picture I converted with my Cricut and adhered to the lamp using permanent vinyl! It looks just like him! The pictures do NO justice ! In person it’s beautiful! I wanted to do so much more to it and still can and just might do so but for the first one I have ever made it came out amazing and has definitely given me so many more ideas for future ones! For Mothers Day I made my Mother a Memorial Lamp of her Father, My Papa. My Papa passed away many years ago when I was still just a kid! In the short time I got to have my Papa around, that man changed my life! He was my favorite person in the world and it really hit me hard but ,it really tore my Mom apart when we lost him! Growing up I wished more then anything that I could just have him back for her ! So anyway I could keep him alive in memory I did! I still do!!! Here’s a few pictures of the process of making the lamp!!! I wanted to do so much more but didn’t have the materials or time! But for my first time it came out amazing! It looks just like him! Waiting on my mom to send a finished picture because I completely spaced and did not take one!!!

Hey all!!! I need to apologize for huge gap of time that has passed since I have posted!!! This thing called life has had me running, jumping, and crawling through each and every obstacle it has for me recently! From a huge job change and adjusting to that, to just plain old regular life and it’s daily obstacles !!! I have been extremely tired and sick as of late! I finally had Covid pass through my home last month and it was a doozy for both my Fiancé and I and honestly I haven’t been the same health wise since I got it! So there’s that! Anyways just a little update office wise! I’m still currently looking for the right desk for the little space that I have and cleaning out where it will go! So I haven’t had my crafting tools out to play in quite some time ! I got to pull them out yesterday to finish my moms gift and when I finished I was so sad that I had to put them away again! As soon as everything is settled and I have my office all fixed up I’m going to really put my b***y in my crafting seat and get this going ! I have had to turn down so many opportunities it hurts my heart! No more playing around though, by the end of the year Aced Customs will be taking off with a Bang!!! So please keep me in your thoughts and your fingers crossed for me so we can start off next year with a huge boom!!!! In the meantime anything small you may need I can fit in so please let me know!!! This would have been so cute if the word Curvy didn't get messed up! I was curious about the DT vinyl so I bought a few rolls to try. (No I don't normally use Dollar Tree Vinyl on my projects) Matte and Glitter. Matte works perfectly fine on the right setting and pressure! Glitter Vinyl gets a fat 0!! It's not so great as you can see!!! I will be making this again with the Vinyl I usually use !!! Maybe holographic?!?!!? 😍
