A good friend of the shop and another lyndhurst business is doing her annual wreath sales.

So we had a new one today. I'm sure most of everyone has been run home or to enterprise from us before. This morning a long time customer was upset cause on her way to the shop she wanted to vote but couldn't figure out where. Welp, we made that one happen and got her to her correct location.
With that happening, for the rest of the day if there is a lyndhurst resident that needs a ride/help to vote give us a call at the shop and we will do our best to make it happen.

Scrolling through some paperwork tonight and realized how many of our current jobs are 2/3+ months ago. These are the drivable accidents that happened, yet we have to leave as much space as possible for the non-drivable ones.

We love to see how long everyone is willing to wait for us dealing with staffing/parts shortages, and know we are going as fast as we possibly can. But it shows how great our customers truly are and we can not be more thankful for everyone.

We have some things working on the horizon and hoping to get back to pre covid days real soon.

Just a thank you for sticking with us for a challenging 2 and a half years, something noone in the 3 generations at Plaid has seen.

🇺🇸🇺🇦Humanitarian Aid Collection 🚨🇺🇸🇺🇦

We are maxed out capacity on a Friday night. Possibly the busiest we've been, ever. Thank you to everyone being so patient with delays on parts/insurance and us working as fast as possible. We are rocking and rolling and all thanks to the boys in the shop absolutely killing it and the best customers I could ask for thru a pandemic.

We are awaiting details for the Memorial Service and arrangements for Rob. As soon as we have that information we will disseminate it.

In Memoriam

It is with a heavy heart we are informing you that, despite a mighty battle, our friend and towing brother, Rob Thornton has passed. Rob was 31 years old and joined Nick’s Towing Service approximately one year ago. He was a quiet young man who easily and quickly became part of the fabric of the NTS crew. He was laid back, friendly, and a genuinely nice human being. He enjoyed his work and did it well. Rob was someone who clearly believed in service to his community as evidenced by his choice of career, work as a volunteer EMT with the Moonachie First Aid Squad, and even in death as an organ donor.
The Nick’s Towing Service family is devastated by this senseless and horrific tragedy. Rob was our brother in towing, dear friend, and co-worker. He will never be forgotten. RIP Rob, we’ll pull the chains from here.
We will update you with information on the Tow Truck Procession and Memorial Service as soon as details are confirmed by Rob's Grandmother.

The boys at Plaid Motors Auto Body would like to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family/coworkers of Rob Thornton from Nick's Towing Service, Inc.
Rob also gave the ultimate gift as an organ donor today while in his darkest hour.
