pls let me explain myself 🤭
I did have hopes of doing this trip with someone (obviously) but I refuse to let that stop my adventurous soul. I’m here to show you that you CAN do what you dream of, even if alone. Plus, you’re never really alone anyways on the road. There are so many other travellers, and the community is endless out here.
Time keeps ticking and your clock is not guaranteed. How do you want to spend your life? I know how I want to spend mine. I mean have you seen the world around us?! 🤯
It’s (roughly) Day 57 since I left to conquer the southern portion of the Pan-American Highway. If you’re new here, I’m currently in Baja California Sur, Mexico 🇲🇽 driving to Argentina over the course of the next 2+ years.
Follow along to see it all 🫶
📍 The Dunes of Solitude (Soledad Dunes)
The locals call them Dunas de Soledad — the Dunes of Solitude. 10 minutes north of Guerrero Negro, 40 square kilometers of white sand shifting with the ocean wind. Next time you find yourself in Baja, don’t miss this spot!

📍 Bahía de Concepción
👀 You built your rig for exploring + offroading, right?
Well offroading has a way of exposing every weakness in your setup…🫣
I built out my Transit for full-time van life - and I’m now driving all the way to Argentina. I spent YEARS getting the interior right, but the exterior mods and upgrades are just as (if not more) important.
The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System is a necessary upgrade. They are helper springs that replace the factory bump stop. The more weight you put on them, the harder they push back: reducing sag, sway, and roll.
✔️ DIY friendly install
✔️ Lifetime warranty
✔️ Zero maintenance

rollin’ free through the salt flats of Guerrero Negro, BCS.
Guerrero Negro means Black Warrior and is one of *many* stops along the drive to Argentina. It marks the end of Baja California Norte, and the beginning of Baja California Sur.
I personally love this place! In the winter you’ll find an abundance of grey whales, the salt flats, sand dunes, and some yummy tacos while you’re here. I spent 5 days here, exploring the surrounding area.
imagine waking up here 🙂↔️🫶
riverside, at sunrise, hot cup of coffee in hand with the pups running around… free as can be. ✨

Taking your dog paddleboarding isn't as hard as you think 💛🐾
It just takes patience, treats, and the right gear.
Sora's been my adventure partner from day one, and that includes both on land and on water. It was my intention from the beginning to bring her along on as many adventures as possible.
Full tips in the video ↑ and yes, her Ruffwear gear is what we bring along for every adventure. Here’s what we used for this adventure:
🐾 Front Range Harness
🐾 Confluence Waterproof Collar
🐾 Roamer Bungee Dog Leash
