The Incorporated Village of Lynbrook is blessed to have a stellar fire department, protecting and serving around the clock.

One of the things I am most proud of is being part of the fire service here in . I am thankful to Hempstead Town Supervisor Don Clavin, Hempstead Town Clerk Kate Murray and our colleagues who always stand with the frontline.

Great to have Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach and Trustees AnnMarie Tolle Reardon and Robert Boccio join us to thank and honor this team from the Lynbrook Fire Department after a great grab at a house fire back in February.

A Key to the Town of Hempstead, challenge coins and citations for all - but most importantly, a genuine tip of the helmet and thank you for keeping America's largest Town, safe.

The future of the volunteer fire service here in the Town of Hempstead depends on neighbors, especially young ones, willing to get involved and join our ranks.

For forty years, Lynbrook Junior Fire Dept. has cultivated first responders who have gone on to serve, lead and keep us safe.

Great to join with Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach, his board and the Chiefs of the Lynbrook Fire Department to thank all those who made the last four decades a success.

Today I was thrilled to join Santa, Rockville Centre Fire Department, Rockville Centre Junior Fire Department, Lynbrook Junior Fire Dept., Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Department, Valley Stream Junior Fire Department, Hewlett Junior Fire Department, and fire departments and junior departments throughout Nassau County in giving toys to children at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital. It was wonderful to be involved in such a meaningful holiday endeavor. I’m so proud of all the incredible work our fire departments do for our communities. Happy Holidays!

spent the afternoon in the Village of Lynbrook bringing Town of Hempstead government to those I represent.

Not only was I visited by many neighbors thankful that I work so well with Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach and his board to find solutions to their problems, but I also got to meet some our youngest residents, taking advantage of our Child ID program.

Although its been a few years since I fingerprinted anyone, I got right back in the groove and Hempstead Town Clerk Sylvia A. Cabana helped create identifications for kids as they prepare to head back to school!

Chief Bill Abrams has served the Village of Lynbrook with pride, hard work and success during his tenure as Chief of Department.
