Happy Labor Day from the CSEA Local 882 Lynbrook DPW, the sanitation and recycling schedule for the week of 9/3/2023 will be as follows:

-There will be no garbage or recycling collection Monday 9/4
-If your normal garbage or recycling collection is Monday 9/4 it will be moved to Tuesday 9/5
-If your normal garbage or recycling collection is Tuesday 9/5 it will be moved to Wednesday 9/6
-Wednesday, Thursday, Friday recycling collection remains unchanged for the week of 9/3
-Thursday and Friday Garbage collection remains unchanged for the week of 9/3
-There will be NO yard waste collection the week of 9/3

Recycling Zones:
Monday recycling pickup is in the Red zone
Tuesday recycling pickup is in the Blue zone
Wednesday recycling pickup is in the Pink zone
Thursday recycling pickup is in the Green zone
Friday Recycling pickup is in the Orange zone

CSEA Local 882 Lynbrook DPW updated their business hours.

If you live in he Green zone your garbage is picked up Monday and Thursday.
If you live in the Orange zone your garbage is picked up Tuesday and Friday.
Yard waste is picked up in both zones on Wednesday, unless notified of a change on this page or in a post card mailed several times a year.
