Reminder-Tomorrow's EMS Week Celebration

2019 EMS Week Celebration.

Covenant Children's, AeroCare, Covenant Plainview, Covenant Levelland and Covenant Medical Center would like to honor you by celebrating National EMS Week on May 22nd.

This year breakfast will be provided for off-going and on-coming shifts 0600-0900 and we will be giving out door prizes.

The celebrations will be held at Covenant Children’s, Covenant Levelland and Covenant Plainview.

SPEMS Throwback Thursday WINNER!

Yesterdays trivia question was:

SPEMS has had 4 medical directors in its 37 year history. What are the names of these physicians and which one served the longest as medical director?

Many of you had a hard time remembering our first medical director, and almost everyone incorrectly guessed Dr Hagedorn as the one who served the longest.

The names of the four and their length of time as medical director are:

Frances Jackson, MD, 8 years
C.R.F. Baker Jr, MD, 11 years
Fred Hagedorn, MD, 9 years
E. Joe Sasin, MD, 9 years

AND THE WINNER IS:

Andy Hamill with UMC EMS. He was the only one that named all four, and correctly selected Dr Baker as the one who was medical director the longest period of time.
