We had an awesome time at yesterday’s Superhero Sunday event at the Pottery Lounge! 🦸 We want to thank everyone for coming out and our participating businesses again for partnering with us to put on such a fun event!

In case you weren’t familiar with some of our participating businesses, here’s a rundown of what they do!

🎨 The Pottery Lounge, newly relocated at 6059 E. State Street, is a paint-your-own pottery studio. You can walk in and paint ceramics, wood art and canvas any time they are open. They also offer birthday parties, camps, and special events. Follow them on Facebook to see their upcoming events!

👑 Characters 2 Life offers in-person appearances from a variety of well-known characters like princesses and superheroes as well as glitter tattoos, face painting, and balloon twisting. They do birthday parties, special events like Easter bunny visits, and more. Follow them on Facebook to see their upcoming events!

🧁 Halo Cupcake, located in Loves Park, makes all sorts of delicious sweet treats like cupcakes, bars, cookies, cake pops and more. They make custom birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and sweet dessert tables for events. They offer a huge variety of unique flavors like cotton candy, Elvis, Rocky Road, Oreo, and Birthday cake. When do you plan on normal walk in sales again at the shop?

Kimberly & Nate have been through quite a bit from having to reschedule their special day due to Covid (as have many others) but their persistence and love throughout that time have paid off in the beautiful gift of marriage and I couldn't be any happier for the two of them. We had a beautiful day filled with love and laughter while spending it with their friends and family. It was a perfect day and a day that will be cherished forever. Congratulations you two!
