Sunday May 10th from 12-2 join me in the studio for
Making a Metalsmith ~ Match your mom (or mentor or whomever) ~ edition.

We will be learning the basics of silver smithing while makin matching pendants out of silver, and memories of wholesome learning and making time with our moms or mentors or whomever :)

Sunday from 2-5 we will have mimosas, a bouquet bar, and 20% off all inventory ‼️ as I prepare to integrate my new found inspiration and skill into my work I am ready to shed!
~ included in class, but open for anyone who’d like to shop the local wares & bring their mama some flowers 💐

Week at the Ghost Ranch ~recap~

Wow! I had such a good time. A whole week of very little service / interaction with the outside world, all our meals cooked for us and delicious - dessert especially… and last but not least, a fully equipped studio with nothing but time to create with the guidance and inspiration from our very talented teachers and fellow students. A dream! All surrounded by the otherworldly landscape that is the Ghost Ranch. I feel extremely fortunate and grateful for my experience and can’t wait to take these lessons and inspiration with me into my future work 🤩

Following the workshop Earthy Plate will be hosting a palentines and valentines dinner both evenings at 7pm ~ a perfect friend or lover date ~ activity and dinner under one roof! See the menu, and reserve your dinner portion of the evening

We will be learning the basics of silversmithing in this 2 hour class! Learn to fabricate a ring out of sterling silver.

A variation of my classic “Making A Metalsmith” class, so whether you are new to metal smithing or you’ve already taken a workshop with me, we will be going over all the fundamentals as well as incorporating a new technique to personalize these pieces with the cutest lil wonky heart stamps *if you want*

You will leave with the “making a metalsmith” zine I made that explains the process, gives you a list of what rudimentary tools you can use at home to start gettin into it, etc., a personalized stamped silver ring, & a custom decorated ring box bonus :)

This will be a very simple introduction to metal smithing - reach out if you’d like to schedule a special private class, or if you have taken the class and want to continue learning through self study ask me about open studio hours.

I thought it would be fun to have a lil twofer - you gift yourself a new skill while making someone special a ~ stamped silver stacker ~ for the holidays 🎄

This will be a variation of the classic “Making a Metalsmith” class so whether you are new to metal smithing or you’ve taken a workshop with me before, we will be introducing some new techniques to personalize these silver bands. I also got blank ring boxes so you can decorate / design and wrap them with my vast selection of ribbon 💝 aka my pride and joy

We will have some warm festive beverages + will have panini’s available ✨

We are asking for a suggested donation for our activities ~ dipping locally sourced 100% organic beeswax candles to light the way through the next few dark winter months 🕯️with providing a 100% local organic meal ~ leaving us with a pair of artfully dipped beeswax candles + full hearts and bellies 💖
