Bodyblade was created by physical therapist, Bruce Hymanson, to provide his patients with an accessible method of training that will build the body from the center out. This is as true today as it was 30 years ago.
Having a proper arm care program is essential for all throwing athletes. Movements such as the one shown here are great for enhancing shoulder stability while also helping to enhance motor control and coordination. Preparing the athlete to control both rapid acceleration and deceleration of their body throughout this movement is critical to ensure protection of the joints and aid in injury prevention. The added bonus is increased throwing velocity and improved overall performance.
Bodyblade Makes Functional Training Accessible
Whether you are standing, sitting, or lying down; Bodyblade provides a platform to make functional training accessible to everyone.
So whether you are working with a rehabilitation professional, a trainer, or are your own wellness coach, you can count on Bodyblade to train your body as an entire system; working from the center out to improve overall function, performance, and quality of life.
As a rehabilitation professional, your goal is to improve the way your patients move in a tri-plane environment. The elements we believe contribute to this process are stabilization, mobility, strength, endurance, power, balance, and coordination. The compilation of these elements bring us to our ultimate goal: FUNCTION. Bodyblade, in its unique application, contributes to improving all of the elements mentioned above!
