"Jenna, how is building that app coming along?"
"Oh, I made a printable sheet of paper that does the same thing. It's free."
Our Paper Era: 1-page Sheet To Never Forget Who Can’t Eat Dairy Friends, making an app is like building a house. It's all very exciting in the beginning (choosing colors! Dreaming of pasta!) then by like, month 8 it's not whimsical anymore. The smiley sales guy? Haven't seen him sinc...

👀 Do you ever host a dinner and suddenly remember mid-meal that one guest is allergic to dairy, another is gluten-free, and someone else will actually unalive if there’s a peanut within 300 feet??
Because SAME. I was tired of scrolling 87 group texts trying to remember who “doesn’t eat beige food right now,” so I made a one-page Guest Profile Sheet you can print and fill out for every guest. (It's free - just like the app I'm cooking up that will eventually launch and replace it, but we're in our PAPER ERA)
✔️ Allergies
✔️ Hard-no foods
✔️ Accessibility needs
✔️ “Will cry if you forget the ranch”
It’s cute, it’s free, and it will SAVE YOUR HOSTING LIFE during Friendsgiving, holidays, supper clubs, birthday dinners, etc.

If you’re a Type-A girl in a top hat like me: you’re welcome.
If you’re not: print it anyway and pretend you are.
YesTable FREE Printable Download Hosting is fun until someone walks into Thanksgiving and says, “Oh btw I’m allergic to dairy, gluten, soy, and also emotions.” 🫠So I made this: a one-page Guest Profile sheet to keep everything in one place: food boundaries, comfort needs, “absolutely will not eat” notes, and the little...

Big news for California 🎉 Restaurants now have to list the Big 9 allergens by law starting 2026.
We love to see it, but we’re already two steps ahead!!
YesTable app lets guests share allergies + preferences right from their phones. YesTable directly mirrors the "Big 9" allergies that California requires: Peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, gluten and soy.
Regulation is catching up to what we built: tables where everyone can say yes.
(This is what happens when lawyers build apps 🤓)

The blog is up! Today we're discussing how empathy is the real party starter.
Hosting Is an Act of Radical Empathy The other day, a hater on Facebook wrote: “If you don’t like what I cook, don’t come.” That sums up a certain vibe right now. The world feels like it’s getting ruder. More “me first and eff you” because everyone is a key...

YesTable founder Jenna Myers Karvunidis was featured in the Daily Journal this week, reflecting on food, tables, and the power of community. These are the same values that inspired YesTable.
Because gathering should be inclusive and full of yeses!
Eviction destabilizes not only housing, but also food security and community The Daily Journal has more journalists covering the California legal profession than any other publication.
