4 out of 5 dermatologists recommend everything except 'C'. 😀
What happens if you accidentally mistake 'C' for sunblock on the 9th hole?
At 2:30 AM, while the rest of San José is completely asleep, Harold’s day is just beginning.
He’s been the beating heart of Valle del Sol Golf Course in Costa Rica for 38 years. He speaks 7 languages—including Japanese, French, and German—just to make travelers feel welcome. He acts as part-time psychologist to break "first tee anxiety" with pure joy, and treats every single golfer like family.
We hopped on the back of his motorcycle before dawn to capture his entire daily ritual. From smoking ci******es and praying on his patio at 3:00 AM, to feeding the local stray cats at the course, to managing a chaotic weekend rush of players ripping vintage clubs—this is the side of golf that never gets told.
Dylan in the pro shop takes your money, but Harold is the man who starts your golf journey. Watch the incredible, untold story of a true living legend.
Hit play and see why Harold is the real soul of the fairway.

Ever wonder how much money is sitting under your golf cart?
Building a brand new concrete cart path isn't as cheap as a standard sidewalk. Between grading, thick pours, and navigating 18 holes, the final price tag might shock you.
What’s your guess on the cost per foot? Drop it in the comments. 👇
The most dangerous hazard on the golf course isn't a sand trap or a water hazard, it’s the sun.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Melanoma on my chest. They had to go deep and wide to remove it (you can see the actual tissue they cut out in the video).
We absorb years of cumulative sun damage every time we play 18 holes. It doesn't discriminate, even Bob Marley lost his life to a melanoma that started on his foot.
Please don't skip the sunscreen, the bucket hat, or the UV sleeves. Most importantly, go book a skin check with a professional. Share this video with someone who needs the reminder today.

We’ve all had those close calls on the course, but imagine being the guy who almost wiped out a $20+ million global stadium tour with a single slice.
Meet Nicko McBrain. When he’s not behind the drums for Iron Maiden, he is a certified golf addict. He carries his clubs on tour and plays the best courses worldwide. But during a round in 2008 in San José, Costa Rica, a rogue, stray ball hit by another player struck Nicko directly on his right wrist.
The band's medical staff dropped a terrifying diagnosis: If that ball had hit just one inch lower, it would have completely shattered his wrist bone.
Think about the pressure on that other golfer if they found out. A broken wrist meant Nicko couldn't hold a drumstick, forcing the band to cancel that evening's San Jose, Costa Rica concert and send thousands of fans home.
In ultimate weekend-warrior fashion, Nicko refused to quit. He wrapped the bruised wrist, powered through the discomfort, and played a legendary, sold-out stadium show just hours later.
Have you ever been struck by a rogue ball on the course?

If the day ever comes that I need a mobility aid, forget the standard walking cane—I’m pulling a club out of the golf bag.
Is using a 7-iron as a walking stick the ultimate country club power move, or am I just asking for a slick sidewalk wipeout?
Either way, the golf aesthetic stays undefeated.
The Real Way to Fix Your Chipping Yips (No Wedge Needed)
We've all been there, standing over a simple chip shot with a tight lie, and the chipping yips take over.
I decided enough was enough with my 58-degree wedge. I headed out to the course to practice a few high-percentage alternatives: the 7-iron, 8-iron, 9-iron, and a hybrid bump-and-run.
Running the ball along the ground like a putt completely changes the game. It controls the speed, gets it close to the pin, and sets up an easy one-putt to get off the green. Whether you are saving a par or grinding out a double-bogey rescue, taking the big mistake out of play is how we shave strokes.
Check out the results and let me know how you fight the short-game jitters.

I swear. Sometimes this game just smacks you in the face.
I'll be back next week.
I thought I broke these TITE Eyewear golf sunglasses.
Why would they adjust at the ear piece?
