Gong Xi Fa Cai!🏮🎊 Wishing everyone a prosperous, joyful and abundant Year of the Snake 🐍✨ We continue our auspicious celebration from last week with Cobra Kai – a perfect balance of bold and elegance featuring Haku Vodka, passion fruit and housemade Hibiscus Liqueur, with the strength to match!

Pair it with our mitarashi dango dessert, soft-melty-chewy rice balls grilled over binchotan charcoal, finished with housemade cinnamon butter cookies crumble for that extra crunch and texture. Sweet and savory perfection.

We’re seeing lots of first responders come in to enjoy our offerings and it brings a lot of smiles on our faces being able to support in the little ways we can. Big shoutout to the DTLA community and for spreading the word and bringing love. What a sight it is to see the entire city come together and get back on our feet, together 🫶🏻

Being tucked away in this concrete jungle of DTLA, we’re happy we can provide a space of respite even if it’s just brief moments of cheers and laughter we shared.

To those we haven’t had the chance to serve yet, we’ve been shaking our Hero Squad cocktail this past weekend that continues through Restaurant Week on February 7. A portion of cocktail sales goes towards and relief efforts helping those impacted by the fires.

Thank you to all our heroes who have been fighting on the front lines for us, protecting our homes and saving our memories. We hope to support and serve our community – we’re offering complimentary Squid Ink Karaage (fried chicken) & Fries for all first responders.

We are so sorry for what so many are going through. It’s our small way of trying to help during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers continue with the affected communities.

Please share this with anyone on the frontlines who could use a meal and support. We’re all in this together ❤️

We are back open to regular hours. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and update any changes here that could impact the safety of our team and guests.

Our hearts are with those affected, first responders and everyone displaced. We stand with our lovely city during this catastrophic loss, and here to support the community in any way we can.

We are working on ways to provide food for those in need – we are open to any suggestions and if you know a group that may need help please send them our way ❤️‍🩹

For those staying close to home we are offering free delivery with UberEats and DoorDash. If you need anything don’t hesitate to let us know, we are here for you!

It’s always been a dream of ours to create art beyond food & beverage, and we’re so excited to celebrate this Halloween with long-time friend and DTLA’s biker fashion hero, Kai from Lumieres 👻 Bringing a spooky season of culture and community across mediums.

Our shared love for the neighborhood brought us together again for another year of fun and flavors. This time round trick or treat with Midnight Pork Katsu and Hot as Hell Hot Sauce by Chef Erick, a smoked Mezcal cocktail by Beverage Director Oscar, and a special line of merch inspired from the themes of Yokai (Japanese Demons).

The haunt begins this Saturday! Turning up the vibes with DJ Blondie Beach spinning all night long and smoked mezcal cocktails flowing for extra spice and scares.

Yakitori Boyz

Introducing the Yakitori Boyz: Akarad Tachavatcharapa, Daniel Shemtob and Nara Latip (left to right). With that many As to his name, Akarad is always ready to bring his A game. It is also not a coincidence that he comes from an A-dvertising background which translates into our playful approach to branding. The particular attention to detail in the restaurant's space and even down to plating can be attributed to Nara’s craft in architecture.

For Daniel Shemtob, taking the road less traveled from many of his fellow top chef compadres might have been just the key to building his impressive resume. Enriched with experience through winning Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race, he has attained a new benchmark in culinary vision and ex*****on. He looks at food as he does with his life; passionate, fun, and approachable.

The trio have bonded through countless yakitori meals over the years, and it is ultimately their shared love for Japanese cuisine (and fancy jackets) that hatched the idea of HATCH. Our goal is to provide you with serious eats in a fun and casual environment. We look forward to hang out with you! #stickaround
