Hi,
I have a bit of a bizarre request. I am looking for a new mom who would be willing to give me an item that has new baby -up to 6 weeks old- scent on it ( it can be a blanket, piece of clothing etc - I’d be happy to purchase said item) it’s to acclimate a cat to the scent of a baby prior to its arrival so that the parents will feel safer having the cat around the infant. For a TV show. Would really appreciate it!!

Little guy rocking his newborn session at 24 days! Yes, you read that right! 24 days.

Although the “usual” timeframe for newborn photography is within the first two weeks, sometimes there are reasons why it's just not feasible. Perhaps baby is in the NICU for an extended period of time (like this little guy), or mom is still healing from a C-section, or baby is experiencing some feeding or weight gain challenges. Sometimes we can still capture bare baby poses, and sometimes baby prefers to stay swaddled and we capture those. Whatever baby is most comfortable in, that's what we photograph. But one thing is for sure, our track record in capturing beautiful images for "older" newborns is excellent.
