Looking back through this feed, wow, I can’t believe I did all that! As a healer, I wanted a way to help people help themselves and believed food was it, since it’s the foundation of our health and wellbeing. As a mom, I needed to do something about the food our kids are eating. It’s been a HUGE personal growth journey for me and I’m SO grateful and feel SO fulfilled to have created Kye’s and for the community we served for 8 years on Montana Ave.
Supporting the business through the pandemic, then losing our lease and supporting our staff as long as we could at the Colony while waiting to transition to Nosotros in Venice, which has been delayed for 3 years now, has exhausted my personal resources and we are no longer able to re-open at this time. Thank you for all your support and love over the years and to those of you who keep reaching out letting us know you miss us, it means the world.
Kye just turned 18 last month and I’m
taking this precious time to spend with him before he leaves the nest. Nosotros is finally opening soon, for real, it’s going to be a great addition to the Venice community, so please check it out.
I still really believe in Kye’s potential and our mission to transform the food industry to prioritize the health and wellbeing of consumers, workers, and the planet. If you know anyone that is passionate about clean healthy food and is looking to invest in championing this cause, is a bad ass restaurant operator looking for something to pour their heart and soul into, and/or is in the restaurant business looking to partner or take over a business like ours, please reach out. Meet Yovany 👋 Originally from Guatemala, he loves to visit the beach in his free time and has worked at Kye’s for 3 years. His favorite thing about being a part of the Kye’s family is how the food is so healthy and made with organic ingredients, his go-to menu item is our Sweet Miso Wrap with Chicken. He has the sweetest demeanor, cares deeply, is super hard working, and has the best attitude. He’s the type of person that is aware of his surroundings and is always one step ahead anticipating what you need and how he can be helpful.
So grateful he is a part of our team, he will see you in Venice!
