Power and Money, does it corrupt?

2025 is going to be wild.

Creatives are under attack.

The studios and entities that control our media the record labels the studio heads are operating as if creators of their own products are replaceable. Not just replaceable with other industry plants mind you but with AI. They think that creatives are “just happy to do the work “well guess what we’re not happy but we are getting inspired. we’re inspired to change the game.

The problem here is that humans create stories and content resonates with other humans. It’s a unique human lens that sees the world in a way and invites us in. AI is about average. Nobody wants to go to an average restaurant or see an average movie. It’s about using data to mitigate risk. Well art is pretty damn risky from the moment you decide you want to make art. this is the call to action if you are a creative I want you to fight for your ability to create. I also want you to defend your fellow creatives in whatever creative way you can come up with. I made over 100 signs last year for striking creatives and now that I have a new shop 75% done I plan on finding partnerships to allow me to do way more, if you know of any way to help, let’s go!

EA is a gaming company putting AI over people.

Tone deaf CEO Andrew Wilson recently announced 60% of their game development will be “impacted” by AI. He said this after laying off 6% and then 5% of the companies staff. 🙄

If you want your games voiced and acted by real people, this should matter to you. Speak with your wallet if you’re a gamer. If you’re a creative, fight for your craft and your fellow creatives. Corporations want to replace you in every industry and as soon as the they can, they will. Stand up and pay attention to what’s happening.

Looks like someone in the video game industry is playing dirty and skirting labor laws & unions and got caught.

This industry is Greedy and shady. I make these as a non-union member in an attempt to help awareness of the slow death of creative careers happening right in front of us. Don’t let your games be ai-generated, support the creatives that make them good.

Every story needs a villain I guess…

This guy is reportedly allowing police to question (at their homes) those who have responded to a petition. That’s not American, that’s voter intimidation. There are a lot of other words for it. These weak stories intended to justify political overreach are a clear rights violation regardless of your politics.

I asked Elyssa why she was a creative person despite all the challenges. On or around day 100 of the strike last year: She said she acts and does comedy because “I want to bring joy to people and put smiles on faces.”

There is something like that in almost every creative persons mission statement.

What do you think the studios mission statement is? Money above all else. It’s money over people, money over quality and money without heart and soul.

We all need money, but you can’t buy heart and soul.

I don’t want the large corporations to be able to operate without a BIG group of creatives acting as the creative buffer between the corporations and their projects. Creative people strive for quality and put the soul back into it.

They put the smiles on your faces and I support them fighting for a FAIR deal.

Support them by voicing your opinion. Change the narrative, elevate the creative class, they are good people.

Why I believe corporations… 👇

I believe corporations will do everything they can to maximize profits over people. I believe that they will use political and financial influence and legal loopholes, while the average individual does not have the time, energy or resources to put that on their agenda.

Corporations gain more control and individuals must tolerate it. I believe that there should be checks and balances so that this doesn’t go too far.

The creative class and almost every industry has historically been stepped on despite producing the product that is sold. Navigating this problem should be on our societal agenda.

I am currently using the great legacy characters from video games & animation to help call attention to one of our many issues. ✌️
