Some coffee shops focus on aesthetics, drawing in influencers, spending an exuberant amount on furniture just to create an aesthetically looking place without considering the quality of the coffee they serve and the science behind the extraction that makes coffee experiences go disappointing to amazing.

since 2017 our focus has always been serving the best coffee on Santa Monica Blvd. Rather than trying to impress you with expensive and unnecessary things; we have put all our focus love and attention to always stay on top of the quality of our coffee and that you get a great experience both in hospitality and in quality of beverage.

Seven years later, we got to be the main sponsors of one of the biggest events in Los Angeles where we got to share our knowledge of extraction and approaches to making better coffee more members of our community.

David has been like a Dad to us for almost 7 years. His warm embrace feels just like a dad reminding he’s proud of ya.

The reason we started a coffee shop and now brunch restaurant was 1 reason and 1 reason only; to make someone’s day that day.
After 12 years of working in coffee you start learning how people interact with the experience of going to a cafe. For some folks you get to be there very first human interaction, that means so much.
Over the years we’ve had to privilege to serve so many over the years and it’s always validating when they come back to visit and make a stop at GoodPeople.
GoodPeople isn’t a business, it’s a home, it’s a refuge, it’s a canvas or it’s your go to for dope coffee and vibes.

December 2017, all we had was 297 ft.², a Frankenstein espresso machine, no batch brewer, no pitcher rinser, and about 10 customers a day.

Our journey in coffee didn’t start with a bank loan or investors. It started working minimum wage in our 30s at several coffee shops to gain the knowledge, experience, and foresight to know how to run a successful coffee program and café.

Today we have the most extensive coffee program ranging from hard to find high-end coffees from around the world to fun delicious concoctions that have nothing to do with coffee at all.

people rave about our breakfast burritos and our smash burgers, it’s shocking how many people have switched over to buying our coffee and making it at home and coming over for lunch instead.

West LA, thank you for letting us serve you all these years and we look forward to many more years of delicious, unique experiences 😘😘

Just around the corner of Creature Cantina is a mom & pop coffee roaster and brunch spot called GoodBeings in Tatooine.

Our Jedi is on her way to becoming a Master and has decided to lay off the sauce and get a coffee instead of a cocktail whilst Chewbacca is trying to get the Millennium Falcon back.

She stumbled upon a unique drink, it was called “Princess Leia” a unique combination of caramel, espresso, a creamy uniquely notorious vanilla foam, and gold flakes… one sip….
