A year ago today, I had my very first book release celebration. I still can't believe I wrote a book 📕 when I was 7. Thanks to my dad, mom, and everyone who has supported me. Love you all. ❤️

Hello World 🌎 Happy Tuesday! My mom has been teaching me about & I learned about Madame CJ Walker. Her real name was Sarah Breedlove & the reason why she invented her hair care and cosmetics line back in the early 1900s that made her a millionaire is because she was having issues with dandruff, eczema, baldness and dry scalp from using other harsh products. She learned about the business while selling hair care products for Annie Malone, who has another Black hair care products entrepreneur and later became her biggest rival in the industry. Annie even accused Sarah of stealing her formula, which was petroleum jelly and sulfur but that didn’t stop Sarah from going on to build a factory, hair salon, and beauty school training others and paying them well.

I really admire her and I’m thankful she started this because I have eczema so I’m sure I’ve used something she created. It also inspires me to continue working hard on my dreams so I can be successful in whatever I do as well.
