Animals hold a special place in my heart. These staff and volunteers have been working non-stop with displaced animals, and getting animals out of kill shelters and it to foster homes, then eventually forever homes. This is always their mission, but the kill shelters are more overrun with animals than ever, so the effort is definitely in triple time now.

Thanks to we’ve been able to focus our relief efforts to those who need it most. I had actually started talking to Adrion of a week ago about coming by and grabbing a pizza before this all went down. He pops up weekly owned by Jake who’s also pictured. Fast forward a couple days, and Jake’s store is a total loss in the wildfires. A place where and various other vendors pop-up regularly. I contacted Adrion asking how we can help, and they let me know they were organizing relief efforts in Altadena, one of the areas hardest hit by the wildfires. No questions asked we were showing up with pizza. I know Adrion would have done the same.

The LA pizza community is one of a kind.

Our friend was in from out of town, and while he was staying at the hotel came very day and finished our entire menu. What a trooper. That’s true pizza love right there 🍕 ❤️

We are so juiced to officially open next week in Franklin Village! The neighborhood has been so warm and welcoming, we cannot wait to serve you the best Detroit-style pizza in Los Angeles.

Please be patient with us, as we expect to be extremely busy and we are still hiring some team members.

Summer Hours of operation will be from 11am-10pm, Mon-Sat, and closed Sundays until late summer/early fall.

PSA: Starting Feb 8th we are partnering up with every Thursday for pizza night at their awesome brewery in DTLA! Pizzas will be delivered with no fee, every 45 minutes.

How IT Works:
-Native Son will have table tents with QR codes on them directing you guys to our ordering page. Orders open at 4pm and go till 8pm

-Pizza will be delivered every 45 minutes, tentatively at 4:45, 5:30, 6:15, 7:00, 7:45, and 8:30pm

-For your order to arrive in that time block, your order MUST be placed 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time

-PLEASE add “NATIVE SON” in notes section so we can distinguish orders.
