Rooted & Rising with the Cranes

Today we shrink wrapped 13 chickens and broke 15 down into prepped bags for meals. It was a loooooong day! 28 meat birds was a lot of work! So thankful that we made it to this day and we have a freezer full of chicken to go along with our stand up full of beef! 🙏

What better way to end it than with a fire and a s’more! 👌❤️

Today was the day. It was emotional, but we did it! Had help from our neighbors which was so appreciated!!! Now they wait in their ice bath.

Busy week and weekend here with our oldest shows! She did phenomenal!!! Back to our normal broadcasting on Monday 😉 Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Our meat birds have officially hit 6 weeks old! We will be processing in the next week so it’s time to start getting everything ready. 😬 Chris put this together today, hopefully it works out well for us!

Of course we had to grab some of our fav flavors of ice cream at Wegmans last night! Late night desert! 🍨 What’s your favorite flavor?!
