We had some requests to make these shirts available for purchase before the festival. And we think that's a great idea!
This way, you can wear your shirt to the festival instead of having to slip it on over whatever you're wearing in the park. Plus, if you can't make it to the festival but you want a piece of Longview LGBTQ+ memorabilia, you'll be able to grab one now!
We are only putting half of them up on the website. That way there will still be plenty available at the festival.
100% of the proceeds from this shirt go to Longview Pride and the Cascade Forward Project (our 501c3 that helps local underserved youth, the unhoused, and the community at large).
Link is in the comments. Local pickup at Magpie Books will be an option after purchase through the website.

REMINDER! There is no Community Stand this Saturday. That's because NO KINGS is doing a big national event this Sunday, and we decided to make that our demonstration day instead.
Where: RA Long Park (Gazebo as always)
When: SUNDAY June 14 at 4:30PM
Sunday is Flag day. I think it might also be someone's birthday but I'm not really up to date on such things. To celebrate that most momentous of holidays, we will be streaming a concert put on by No Kings and the Committee for the First Amendment. We got us a big ole projector screen and we'll be showing it in the park.
Since it'll be in the park, we can still make a demonstration of it. March and hold signs if you want, chalk the park if you want, do what you would normally do on a Saturday if the concert isn't interesting to you!
It's a lot later than usual, but the show starts at 7:30PM in NYC, so we gotta start when it starts!
See y'all Sunday!

I'm going to ask you to donate a few bucks to buy art supplies for kids. Let me explain why.
The short of it is: We buy basic art supplies in bulk for a project we call Rubble Flowers. We give these away for free to any kid who wants them. Now, the Ethnic Support Council has put out an ask for such supplies for the children in families they serve. We would like to show up in a big way.
The longer version is that last December we had a Christmas toy drive we called Operation: Esperanza. These toys were collected and distributed to the children of people who had been taken by ICE. Kids whose lives were turned upside down by a political fight they didn't ask for.
Afterward, I kept thinking about those kids. And about all kids who live through unstable times. Children of war, of slavery, of genocide. These kids all too often grow up aimless, unsupported, and easily radicalized. Society takes away their childhoods, their peace, their sense of stability, and then when they grow into criminals and terrorists we throw them into a cell and are done with them.
But some kids who live through unstable times go another way. Sometimes a kid figures out a way to express their pain and trauma in a way that is constructive, or even beautiful. Like flowers growing from rubble, artists emerge from destruction.
The Cascade Forward Project wants to make sure those future artists have the tools they need. For now, that means buying bulk art supplies so we can stretch our donations as far as possible, and getting those supplies in the hands of local kids.
The opportunity to distribute these supplies through the Ethnic Support Council is really special to us because those kids are the reason we started this project in the first place. Yes, we since decided that all kids are going through hard times right now and deserve the same help, but it's exciting to get to focus some aid in that originally intended direction.
I know there's a lot of donation asks out there. Political campaigns are going. There's been a tragedy in Longview. Everyone needs money. And there's not much of it to go round. But if you have a few extra dollars right now, and the Rubble Flowers concept speaks to you, please click the link in the comments and give what you can spare. Even $5 gets supplies into the hands of a couple of kids.
I think this country is slowly turning a corner. Waking up, maybe, to a better tomorrow. Let's give today's kids the creative tools they need to become architects of a better future.

There's a HUGE concert happening in New York on Trump's birthday - June 14th. No Kings has decided to mark the occasion by celebrating one of the things ole Donny Two-Dolls hates most - the first amendment.
The concert is being livestreamed, so we can watch it all the way out here. You're invited to come watch. Or whatever!
We will be playing the concert on a projector under the gazebo so the sun won't wash out the picture. We'll set up some chairs and have some snacks available. We will also be playing the concert through our loud speakers, so you don't HAVE to sit and watch if you don't want to!
There will be sidewalk chalk if you would rather express yourself artistically and listen to the music.
And we'll be in our usual demonstration spot - Longview Civic Circle - so if you want to march or carry signs as usual, that's fine too!
We hope to see you there!
When: June 14, 2026
Time: 4:30PM
Where: Longview Civic Circle
Check out the second image on this post for a list of the acts that will be performing.

Hi babes,
Our hearts have been heavy this past week.
In the wake of the tragedy at Nippon, Body Rock wants to do what we can to support the families who are facing the unimaginable right now.
Tonight's classes will be donation-based, and every dollar collected will go directly to the families of the victims. If you're already on a membership or have classes purchased, you're welcome to drop a cash donation in our sparkly bucket instead.
Tonight's lineup (for all levels!):
6pm Buti Yoga (cardio)
7pm Stretching
No amount is too small. If you've been thinking about coming to class, tonight is a beautiful night to move your body, be with your community, and help support our neighbors.
Longview takes care of its own. โค๏ธ

Good afternoon! We apologize for being quiet the last couple of weeks. As many of you know there's been a tragedy here in Longview and time kinda stood still for a bit. There's still a heavy air hanging on a community that's seen unimaginable loss, but we do want you to know that the festival is still being planned!
We are still signing up vendors and sponsors, finalizing things with entertainers, and doing all that fun insurance and permitting paperwork. But we are getting close to the day, so we want to start featuring some of the vendors and sponsors who are going to be gracing our humble fair!
Keep an eye out so you can start to get a feel for what's happening June 27 at the Longview Civic Circle!
