The final rankings are in from the 2026 Texas FFA Agriscience Fair State Degree Check!

These students have spent countless hours researching, planning, and conducting their studies. At state degree check, reviewers ranked applications gold, silver, or bronze. Gold rankings earn the opportunity to advance as a state finalist and compete at the 98th Texas FFA State Convention in July. Out of our seven Agriscience Fair applications, five ranked gold and two ranked silver. Please help us congratulate all of these students on a job well done and wish them luck as they prepare for state!

Both Andrew Dean and Benjamin Weindorff are recipients of Texas FFA’s $20,000 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship!

To be granted a coveted Texas FFA scholarship is something only a small percentage of our very large organization is something to be proud of.

These young men have spent the last 5 years serving in leadership roles for our chapter, competing on various teams, volunteering for community service, and working in their individual SAE. They’ve done all of these things while finishing in the top 10% of their class and competing in varsity sports.

Please help us congratulate these fantastic individuals and wish them good luck as they both head to Texas A&M this fall!

The Longview District FFA Officer Team had a great start at their first meeting last night during the LV District Degree Check!

Officers began planning for the upcoming District Leadership Camp and were proudly presented with their official District Officer FFA jackets. They also had the opportunity to recognize and present awards to outstanding members during the Degree Check.

The District Officer Team would like to congratulate all Longview District FFA members who participated in the Degree Check and are advancing to Area—your hard work and dedication are paying off! We are excited to see all you accomplish next!
