After 3.5 years and a lot of hard work, THE LAST RAID DVDs are finally finished and ready to be shipped to cast, crew, and Indiegogo donors. I'll be shipping them off as money allows, starting with principal cast and crew, as well as major Indiegogo donors, and then working on down the list. So wonderful to finally have this project finished! A special, heartfelt thanks to Cody Ripa for helping with the final phases of post-production. I couldn't have completed this film without you.

The hard drive with the Pro Tools files and relevant media for "the Last Raid" has been sent off for final sound mixing!

Last Raid Update: signed off on the score, prepping files to send in for the final sound mix. Hopefully they'll be in the mail by the end of the day today.

In preparation for REEL ROCK 7, I had the priviledge of working with a professional post-production house to make the HD tape master and encode the MPEG files for the DVD release of the program. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the man I was working with there had done the special effects in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" and many other movies that sound familiar, "Babe" and one of the Terminator pictures among them.

It won't be a Reel Films production, but the 7th Annual Reel Rock film tour, which will feature four exciting films that I helped work on, starts its globe-spanning journey here in Boulder on September 13!

Will be finishing up the "Defiant" trailer this weekend! Keep your fingers crossed for some smooth and quick editing.

The first set of pick-up shots for the Defiant trailer went quite well. I think we have a very convincing portrayal of Gen. William Wentworth, the book's villain/anti-hero.

The second rough cut of the "Defiant" trailer is complete. This cut saw the addition of some sound elements and a fantastically epic score.
