Great connections, good energy and a room full of movers at last week’s mixer held by 100 Black Men of Long Beach .
I met a young lady there who works for Compton and Centennial’s after school program. I connected her to my teammate and her project and the next day, not even 16 hours later, we created an alliance!
I’m present to how much I resisted networking. It’s not the networking, it’s the alignment of the group. Energy is everything.
BE in the rooms where you’re respected and have something to say! Magic is everywhere! Alignment makes it accessible!

Im so blessed to have coaching and accountability in my life.

One of my coaches is an elder who’s devoted his life to systems to make life work.Baba Ted gets to remind me that we operate out of “survival mode”automatically when we’re not aware of our needs, once, and desires independently from one another.

Life can occur as something to conquer. Past let downs get triggered. So we operate out of childhood protective mechanisms. It’s how we’re wired to feel safe.

BE aware of what’s steering the ship. Your past shows up everywhere. And, in actuality, all we have is the present moment.

The African American Cultural Center Long Beach Fund Development committee is one of my favorite causes.

We had our first Fundraiser committee meeting of 2024. Planning the fundraising events for this year.
