Join Rhapsody In Taps & Guests, Sunday May 3rd, noon-5:40pm in Los Alamitos, CA as we celebrate National Tap Day, RIT's 45th Anniversary (YES-45 years!), AND honor the late, great Fred Strickler!!

You are invited! Join us fall semester at OCC Dance Department: Int/Adv Tap (Linda Sohl-Ellison, Weds, 4-6pm) and African Dance & Drumming (Monti Ellison,Thurs, 8:15-10pm). Excellent training, fun, challenging and super affordable: 16 classes $100 for CA adults! HS students 9th-12th FREE (pay small reg fee & submit dual enrollment permission form signed by HS counselor). Apply to OCC, wait for approval email (10 days), register, then enroll. We look forward to dancing with you this fall at OCC (just off 405 fwy, easy parking, beautiful studios with "state of the art" sprung floors)! Details below. Fall semester starts August 25th!!

Fred Strickler, dancer extraordinaire, expressive, powerful and nuanced stage performer, fearless choreographer, and generous, insightful teacher, mentor, collaborator and friend has left us all too soon. Sadly, Fred passed on May 31, 2025, leaving so much empty space in my world. I hold on to all the special memories of you Fred, and our sweet times together--discussing, exploring, creating, rehearsing, performing, laughing and dancing in dialogue through life.
