Only 3 days left of Long Beach Gives! We would love to be able to continue to offer two free monthly clinics (which we were able to do last year thanks to everyone’s generous donations) to help ppl clean up their records and access benefits (housing, health, food, disability), and access help for substance abuse and mental health issues. We’d also love to be able to host free community events to bring more ppl together. Please donate if you can (tax deductible!) and share with your own networks! Thank you ❤️

Early giving for LB Gives starts today! With your generous donations last year we have been able to provide 2 free monthly clinics each month for the past year helping hundreds in our community access benefits, clean up their legal records, and get assistance with housing issues. We would love to be able to continue to provide services at this level and even expand and in order to do that we need your donations. For the first time in 5 years the city of LA will be reopening its waitlist for the Section 8 voucher program. Applications will be available online only for a two week period starting October 17. We will be offering help and computer access during this time if you need it!

With your help donating and sharing we can reach our goal which will allow us to continue to provide free expungement and benefit acquisition clinics to the community. In addition, if we’re able to meet our goal, we are hoping to expand our services to include job search/resume writing workshops, which like all of our services will be free and available to all members of the community.

Today is day 4 of early giving for ! Thank you SO much to all of our generous early givers so far. Please donate and share to help us meet our goal. We will be able to hold monthly community events for a year if we meet our goal!

Events are free and open to anyone in the community who wants to attend. Events we hope to continue and hold this next year include sound baths, yoga, self-defense class, finance workshops, resume writing workshops and more. If you have any idea for future events and/or are interested in partnering, please send us a message!

We have set an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 which would cover an ENTIRE YEAR of monthly expungement clinics, benefit acquisition clinics, and community events all of which are FREE to anyone in the community.
