I’m still here, I’m still working. I’m preparing for upcoming shows, writing up new contracts, and coming up with ideas for my current inventory. Also, life…life is happening.

Winter is coming …

This piece seemed like the never ending project. Not because it was difficult but, due to a million and one unrelated road blocks.

“I appreciate your patience,” may be my quote of the summer in addition to what seems like a never ending funk.

The sweetest little town filled with really good people! Everyone did a fantastic job organizing this event last year. The kiddos had a great time and from a vendor standpoint, I nearly sold out! I’m excited to participate again.

I’ve been wondering why I’m soooo tried all the time. As much as I preach “rest”, I certainly don’t do enough of it.

The low down…when I moved back home in 2020-2021, I hit the ground running. I uprooted my whole life! I moved 10 years of Harford County back to Garrett and started over. I opened up a shop in a different state, took on a part time job, all the while growing my business. I eventually said goodbye to my Morgantown store and hello to a 6 week pop-up shop in Frostburg. Then my part-time job turned into full-time all the while swimming in QLN orders and contracts. Blessings but, so SO busy all the time!

Bottom line is that I have taken zero time off since I moved back home. I am always ON!! I have a big vacation planned for September and I’m trying really hard to psych myself up for it. Have I overdone it? I believe so. Today was suppose to be my last day at the pop-up shop but, quite honestly, I don’t have anything left in me. I am 100% burned the F out so unannounced I made yesterday my last day.

Everything that’s for sale will always be posted on my page. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart for the continued love and support. There are no words to express my gratitude. I’ll be set up at a few local vendor events this upcoming holiday season. Those are much more my speed. I’ll announce dates at another time. Meanwhile, I’ll be finishing up a couple current contracts and taking on a few new ones this Fall.

The good of being a small business owner certainly outweighs the bad. No matter the bumps in the road, I am grateful for every day that I get to be my full authentic self and do what I love most.
