Need a hydrating and delicious meets magical pick-me-up? Our Strawberry Guava Lemonade has three layers: housemade strawberry guava syrup, lemonade electrolytes, and butterfly pea flower tea for color change magic.

Since we’re celebrating all things millennial nostalgia, this is giving mood rings, lava lamps, jelly bracelets, and the excitement of opening a fresh pack of gel pens. Give it a stir and watch the colors transform before your eyes…some kinds of magic never get old. ✨

Historic Lockport is full of hidden gems. ✨

Grab your favorite drink from Slow Season, wander down to Market Street, and hop aboard the Erie Canal Boat Tour for an unforgettable cruise through the locks. Sunshine, canal breezes, and a good drink in hand sounds like summer perfection. ☀️🛥️🍵

✨ Hey now, hey now… ✨

The Lizzie McGuire Latte has officially arrived. Strawberry guava syrup, white chocolate drizzle, espresso, milk, and guava cloud cream come together in a drink that feels straight out of your favorite Y2K daydream. Topped with sprinkles, glitter, and a butterfly clip, it’s giving main character energy in the best possible way. 🦋

We hope every sip takes you back to 2002 when butterfly clips ruled, diaries were sacred, and Lizzie McGuire taught us that being a little awkward was actually pretty cool. ✨💕☕️

✨ Happy Birthday to Us ✨

This Summer Solstice, Slow Season turns one year old.

What began as a little dream of coffee, creativity, and community has grown into something far more beautiful than we ever imagined and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

To celebrate, we’re filling the weeks leading up to our birthday with all sorts of good things:

☕ June 15 ✨ Our brand new Summer Drink Menu launches, along with updates to our regular menu.

✂️ June 18 ✨ New summer crafts arrive in the Crafting Café.

🌞 June 22nd we’re also launching weekday crafting! While table service will remain a weekend experience, you’ll now be able to create during weekday hours with our new self-guided creative stations:
• The Bead Bar
• The Collage Cave
• The Take & Bake Clay Kitchen

🎶 June 19 ✨ Join us for an evening of Live Music & Crafting (6–8pm) and a Permanent Jewelry Pop-Up (4–8pm) as we celebrate our anniversary week.

And that’s just the beginning. More little surprises to come!

Thank you for spending this first year sipping, crafting, gathering, creating, and slowing down with us. Whether you’ve been here since day one or just discovered us recently, you’ve helped make Slow Season what it is.

We can’t wait to celebrate this month with you. 🤎

Grab a friend, order your favorite sips, and settle in for an afternoon of creativity and plenty of laughs. ✨

Crafting is open today from 11am–3pm!

Our spring crafts will be fluttering away on June 15, so if you’ve been eyeing the Clay Silly Goose, Needle-Felted Florals, or any of our seasonal projects, now’s the time to make them before they’re gone for the season. 🌷🪿

We’ve been making small batches of gluten free Dunk-a-Roos on the down low. This place was founded by two millennials so not sure what else you may have expected. 🤣🫶🏼

Come and get them and take a journey back to childhood. Tastes so good with adult coffee. ☕️

✨ Mondays Are for Making Things! ✨

This summer, we’re inviting children ages 6.5–12 to spend their Mondays creating upstairs at Slow Season.

Children can learn knitting and crochet, craft tiny treasures at our polymer clay charm bar like keychains, magnets, clips, jewelry and more…or dive into the wonderful world of junk journaling.

If you’ve never heard of junk journaling, think of it as a scrapbook, sketchbook, memory keeper, and art journal all rolled into one. Children can create a “Summer Side Quest Book” filled with pressed flowers, ticket stubs, drawings, lists of adventures, favorite snacks, tiny treasures, nature finds, photographs, and all the little moments that make summer feel magical.

It’s a creative outlet that grows all season long…a place to document adventures, dreams, discoveries, and everyday wonder.

🌼 Junk Journaling
✨ Polymer Clay Charms & Trinkets

All materials are included, and projects can be adapted to different interests and skill levels. Teachers present to help guide them through their projects.

This is a drop-off program, though parents are always welcome to settle in downstairs in the coffeehouse while their child creates.

Mondays throughout the summer! Sign up for all your spots now, or book your child’s spot as it gets closer!
