Just a reminder that the printed Liverpool CSD Calendar mailed home to families at the start of the school year lists tomorrow (May 15, 2026) as a Superintendent's Conference Day. That is incorrect. Tomorrow is a full day of school for students and staff.

Today we kicked off our June Fun Days calendar, a way for kids to spend their Legend Loot before the end of the year. We also reviewed behavior expectations with some student led skits and honored a special student in each class who always follows the Legend Way.

All Liverpool Central School District students (K-12) will have an early dismissal tomorrow (May 13, 2026) for a Professional Development Half Day.

Please check with your school building(s) for specific dismissal procedures.

Students at Liverpool Elementary are proving they may have a future on Wall Street.

Three LE fifth-graders swept the top three spots in New York State as part of the annual Stock Market Game.

Fifth grader JJ Patane earned first place after making a $27,000 profit during the competition. Fellow fifth graders Will Ciotti and Donovan Kelly placed second and third respectively, each earning a $15,000 profit.

The Stock Market Game is an online simulation in which students from across New York State are given a virtual $100,000 to invest from November through late April. Students buy and sell stocks in an effort to grow their portfolios and finish with the highest profits.

While each student used a different investment strategy, all three credited stock in Micron as one of their most successful investments. Other stocks they purchased included NVIDIA, Amazon, Nike and Apple.

Beyond the competition, the students said they gained a better understanding of how the stock market works, including how quickly stock prices can rise and fall and how current events can impact the market.

The half day tomorrow is just for grades 6-12. LE will have a full day of school.

Liverpool Central School District middle school and high school students (Grades 6-12 ONLY) will have an early dismissal tomorrow (April 17, 2026) for a PLC Day.

The Liverpool Public Library and Liverpool Central School District invite you to a community-wide conversation on youth mental health, technology, and digital wellbeing.

Through shared reading and thoughtful dialogue, we’ll connect concerned caregivers, educators, and community members with local experts to explore:
• The effects of screen time and social media on youth anxiety and mental health
• Warning signs parents and educators should watch for
• Helpful tools and resources
• How we can work together to support our kids

👩‍⚕️ Panelists include experts from OCM BOCES, McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center, Summerwood Pediatrics, Syracuse University, and Liverpool CSD.

🧒 Children’s activities will be available for school-age children attending with caregivers.
