Some of the most meaningful friendships are formed at the Ranch through camp adventures 🏕️, cottage life 🏡, school activities 📚, and everyday moments spent growing together.

For many of our youth, these friendships provide encouragement, belonging, support, and memories that last a lifetime. We love seeing the bonds our kids build as they learn, heal, laugh, and thrive together. 🤝😊💚

COWBOY CAMP SIGN UPS ARE OPEN! 🐴

Cowboy Camp is an equestrian camp for youth age 8-16, hosted at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch in Live Oak, Florida, from June 29-July 3, 2026.

Join Farm Director Jeff Parker and our Ranchers as they teach campers how to ride and care for horses. They'll also enjoy classic summer camp activities like arts and crafts and swimming in our newly resurfaced pool!

💛 At Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Cottage Parents play one of the most important roles in the lives of our children.

These dedicated married couples provide far more than supervision—they create stable, family-style homes filled with structure, encouragement, guidance, and care. Every day, Cottage Parents help teach social skills, independent living skills, responsibility, confidence, and the value of healthy relationships.

For many of the children we serve, especially sibling groups who have experienced abuse, neglect, or trauma, Cottage Parents provide the consistency, understanding, and support they need to heal and grow.

The impact they make lasts a lifetime, and we are deeply grateful for the compassionate individuals who answer this calling. 💛

💚🏕️ Camp starts next week at Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, and we couldn’t be more excited!

From canoeing 🚣 and archery 🎯 to arts and crafts 🎨, camp gives kids the chance to build confidence, make friendships, and create unforgettable memories all summer long.

Alongside our dedicated camp staff, volunteer deputies help campers build healthy, positive relationships with law enforcement through mentorship, encouragement, and fun experiences together.

Since 1981, our camp motto has been simple and meaningful: “Law Officers are your friends.” 💚
