This weekend, our family officially begins our next chapter.
As we get ready to move, I’ve been thinking a lot about the “train theory” and how certain people come into your life at exactly the right time, even if it’s only for a season. Since opening The Daily Rise Bakery, I’ve been incredibly lucky to cross paths with so many amazing people who supported this dream from the beginning, with VERY honorable mentions to my husband, my kids, my family, and my friends.
To every customer who stopped by, bought a goodie, shared kind words, supported an event, or simply chose to support my small business, thank you. The Daily Rise became so much more than I ever imagined because of this community, and I will forever be grateful for the love and support you’ve shown me along the way.
While we may be leaving Nebraska, this is not the end of The Daily Rise, just the next stop on the journey.
Keep an eye out to see where & what we’re up to next.

This is a hard post to write.
Our family will be moving out of state in the coming weeks due to a new job opportunity for my husband, as he continues following his dreams and taking the next step in his career. While we are truly excited for this next chapter for him and for our family, it also comes with a lot of sadness as we prepare to leave a place and community that is home in so many ways.
When I opened The Daily Rise, I never could have imagined the support, kindness, and encouragement that would follow. This community has lifted me up more than you know, through long days, big dreams, and everything in between. I am beyond grateful for each of you who showed up, supported my small business, shared kind words, and made this journey so meaningful.
At this time, I’m not sure what the future holds for The Daily Rise, but I do know that what we’ve built together will always hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you for being part of this story. Thank you for believing in me. I will carry this experience with me always.
With deep gratitude and love,
Kiera

Five months ago, our community showed up in such a powerful way.
At The Daily Market, we came together to support the Tello family after the unexpected loss of, Daniel Tello, a man who had a great impact on many, and because of all of you, we were able to raise $2,876.
While this post is long overdue, the gratitude behind it is just as strong. Every purchase, every share, every moment of support made a difference for this family during an incredibly difficult time.
This is what The Daily Market is all about, not just shopping small, but showing up for one another when it matters most.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, and helped make this possible. 🤍

Hi, I’m Kiera.
I’m the baker behind The Daily Rise Bakery, and I can usually be found in the kitchen early in the morning or late at night, balancing full-time work, motherhood, and this little business I love so much.
I specialize in sourdough and small-batch bakes, all made from my home kitchen here in Lincoln, Nebraska.
I’m so grateful you’re here. 🤍

I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who showed up, supported, and bought me out today. This little bakery cart means the world to me, and seeing that kind of love… I don’t even have the words.
Thank you for believing in me (and loving my baked goods as much as I do).
